The weather in the Aude is quite nice from May through October, and usually quite hot during the summer months of July and August. It’s best to plan outdoor activities early in the day, then a small lunch, a relaying afternoon and a nice dinner in the evening when it cools off a little.
It is quite temperate in the early summer (May-June) and late summer (September, October), making it great for outdoor activities like biking, hiking and running.
It can be quite windy, with the wind mostly coming from the east or west.
